We were at the old swim center in town to check out a much needed roof repair, but my attention was drawn, as usual, to the ground, to the whorly pattern on the concrete slab. Created, I am told, by a very patient contractor who places the grinder to make the ringed circles, one at a time. Considering that the swim center dates back to the early 60’s, the floor is totally googie and right on target, so to speak.
