The worn out sign and the dicey neighborhood didn’t inspire much confidence but our neighbors raved about the business, and so we gave it a try. Not that we had much choice. The radiator in the 16 year old Miata wasn’t holding fluid, so we filled it up and rolled the car down the hill to the Havenscourt Garage.
As advertised, the old Miata rattled (hobbled) in and, by the end of the day, it was gliding out. Wonder what kind of cars they worked on back in the 20’s.
