Akira and I have been on our own for the past few days since Auntie C has been under the weather and recuperating where there’s fresh air (we are a demanding pair, mother and babe). Without Auntie C around I’m having trouble telling what day of the week it is and sometimes the time of the day.
Also, I forgot to cover his parts while changing his diaper and managed to get him to pee into his face AGAIN. But this time his pee pooled in his left ear. I don’t think this is how babies get ear infection but I worry if all of it got drained out and what if he will become hard of hearing because of this?? I cannot find any entry in Dr. Sear’s Baby Book or anything on the web to make me feel better about this…
In the midst of pee-pooling-in-ear incident and my calendar confusion, it took me till noon today to realize that I received a text message in the middle of the night from my mom-to-be friend A that her baby was born on Friday around noon. Sounds like she went to the hospital to be induced on Tuesday so I presume she went through a similar rigamarole as I did but managed a vaginal birth.
Congratulations on your baby girl A! You dont’ have to worry about your baby peeing into her face or ear! Can’t wait for our babies to hangout!!!
